Entering the Lone Star State

No comments:

The third day of our road trip was pleasantly uneventful.  We left Mississippi after a wonderful breakfast...at McDonalds.  We were then prmptly caught in traffic in Louisiana   This, however, did not dampen our traveling excitement and we made good use of our standstill time taking pictures and chaco tanning out the window.

We entered the Lone Star state and immediately turned on the country music.  While Caroline and Abby sing along to their favorite songs about trucks, guns, beer and women, I write the first draft of this post because, well, I just do not know any country music.

After settling in at our home for the weekend, we went on a walk...without shoes just because it was that warm!

Tennessee to Mississippi

No comments:

Day two of the road trip has been wildly successful.  We woke up early to snow, apple cinnamon pancakes and incredible amounts of coffee in Nashville!  After enjoying a wonderful breakfast with Abby and her family, we all got ready for our sweet friend, Lisa’s wedding.
The wedding and reception were both beautiful and we are so happy for Lisa and Jesse!

We changed out of our fancy-schmancy clothes and hit the road by 4pm.  The drive was uneventful and we made great time…probably thanks to our road trip playlist and a lot of coffee.

Made time to visit our favorite coffee shop in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, Chloe’s Cup.

We made it to Mississippi around 10 and had an exciting night of, um, sleep.  Yeah.

Here We Go Again!

No comments:

Well it’s that time of year again- road trip time.  Last year Caroline Eaton and Caroline Kindiger took a coffee themed road trip to Texas in celebration of the end of freshman year.  This year Abby Pressnell is joining the adventure through Nashville, TN down to Texas in celebration of spring break.

This trip will be short, as we have to get back to Cleveland for Caroline E. to fly to New York but unbelievably sweet because we have not had family time all semester.

We’ve packed the truck crazy full then stuck Abby in the back with it all.

We drove through the snow...in the dark...that was a crazy experience!

This was short, not as sweet as I would have liked, but the best is yet to come so stay up to date!
